The magnets are encapsulated inside the ABS housing, so little hands never touch them. The shell is painted with durable pigments: waterproof and non-fading, so a rinse after the bath is fine.

Care and safety
Wipe with a damp cloth. The ABS shell is painted with durable pigments and is waterproof, so a rinse is fine. Magnets are encapsulated inside the ABS housing and never touch hands. Contains small parts — not for children under 3. Keep away from pacemakers and electronics with magnetic storage.

No. Each magnet is encapsulated inside the ABS housing, so hands only ever touch plastic.
Are the magnets strong?
Yes. Eight magnets in every cube, one pair per face, strong enough to hold a wall or a tower together while it's being built.
Gift box or bucket — which one?
Same cubes, same figures, same booklet. The gift box looks the part under the tree. The bucket has a lid and a handle and is where the blocks live after the first week. Pick by what happens on day two.
