A tiny Japanese tavern that glows after dark. A dark tiled roof sits over an upstairs balcony hung with a row of round blue-and-white lanterns, and a sakura-print curtain hangs over the door. Through the sliding paper screens you can see a bar counter, shelves of bottles and a little cat by the window, while a chalkboard sign, a stone lantern and a wooden fence stand guard outside.

It comes as pre-cut wooden pieces that you fit together yourself, with a string of LED lights for the windows. About 209 pieces, so it is a proper afternoon project, and a house you will want to keep on a shelf or desk afterwards.
